South Bend Clutch Terms & Policies
South Bend Clutch, Inc. warrants our Clutches are free from defects in workmanship and material under normal use and service for 12 months after invoice or ship date or 12,000 miles (whichever occurs first). The obligation of seller under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement of defective products.
Seller’s inspection shall determine to its satisfaction that the Clutch is defective.
Buyer must not return the defective parts without the consent of South Bend Clutch, Inc. (see our Return Policy).
South Bend Clutch, Inc. shall not be liable for any special, direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including, but not limited to, claims for delay, loss of profits, or for labor. No express warranties and no implied warranties either of merchantability or fitness for any particular use or purpose or otherwise, other than that expressly set forth above which are made expressly in lieu of all other warranties, shall apply to clutch products sold by South Bend Clutch, Inc.
The Limited Warranty will not be valid
under any of the following express conditions:
When Flywheel was not replaced or resurfaced to specification
Clutches which have been altered, improperly installed, or damaged by accident, negligence or misuse
Installed by someone who is not a certified mechanic.
Products which were not specifically designed for high performance and were used in a high performance and/or racing application
South Bend Clutch, Inc. considers all sales final and does not permit after the sale returns, exchanges or refunds without a 15% restocking fee of.
South Bend Clutch, Inc. is providing a technical product to a technical customer. Accordingly, the customer is expected to review and understand all product information prior to product selection and to make sure he selects a suitable clutch for his vehicle according to intended use, and application.

If the item and its packaging arrive to the customer damaged, the customer is to contact the freight carrier and make a claim with the carrier. South Bend Clutch, Inc. recommends that the customer keeps the packaging to substantiate a freight damage claim.
In the event that the seller has provided a clutch that differs from what was ordered, or the unit as received was not usable for the specified vehicle and purpose, the customer should contact South Bend Clutch, Inc. for a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number. South Bend Clutch, Inc. will review the RMA Request and if appropriate will issue a RMA number.
The customer is to ship the questionable item to South Bend Clutch, Inc. as directed with the specific RMA number. The customer is responsible for proper packaging, for any damage in transit arising from improper packaging, and for all shipping costs to return the items.
Items that are returned to South Bend Clutch, Inc. as described in the specific RMA authorization will be inspected by South Bend Clutch, Inc. and based upon this inspection, South Bend Clutch, Inc. will inform the customer of the inspection results. See our Warranty Policy for more information about South Bend Clutch, Inc.'s inspection and evaluation process.
South Bend Clutch, Inc. will reject all returns that are shipped freight collect and returns that do not have the RMA number on the shipping label.
In the event items other than those specified in the RMA are returned, South Bend Clutch, Inc. will retain them for up to 30 days. South Bend Clutch, Inc. will not review their status nor issue a credit for the items not specified for return in the RMA. South Bend Clutch, Inc. will e mail this status to the customer. If customer wants the not specified items back, he must specifically request the return and he will incur shipping and handling costs for the return. Not specified items that are returned to South Bend Clutch, Inc. and is in their possession for 4 weeks after notification that the items were not authorized for return become the property of South Bend Clutch, Inc. and no credit or return will be issued for these.
Shipping and Delivery Policy
As part of the purchasing process you will be providing a “ship to” address. Based upon this address, suitable shipping companies will be automatically listed on the site and their applicable freight rates defined for the types of services the shipper offers to the destination.
South Bend Clutch Inc. reserves the right to select other carriers without customer notice based upon these criteria:
The selected carrier is not able to deliver due to problems at the carrier (e.g. labor dispute, legal prohibition to deliver at the destination, etc)
The merchandise order total, not including freight or applicable taxes, is over $10,000. In these cases seller selects the carrier and usually ships all items in a single bulk shipment using a truck carrier, not a parcel service.
Once the item has been shipped, it is the carrier’s responsibility to deliver. Weather conditions, international instability, customs regulations, and other factors can adversely affect ship time and are beyond the control of the South Bend Clutch, Inc.
We encourage you to shop around when buying our parts but we do not allow discounts or price matching that goes below our MAP prices (3% below our published retail price).
Anyone paying less than our MAP price will lose their warranty!
South Bend Clutch Inc collects critical customer contact information to assure proper delivery and to enable us to contact the customer if required, for clarification and order fulfillment purposes. This information is retained throughout the ordering process and after to assure successful order fulfillment.

Price Error Policy
South Bend Clutch, Inc., makes every attempt to have all information, including item pricing, accurate. However, sometimes price errors may arise. Should the actual price be less than the posted price, the actual price will be charged to the customer and the web pricing will be updated. Should the actual price be higher than the posted price, South Bend Clutch, Inc. will notify the customer of the difference prior to order fulfillment
of the error and will correct the error on the website. The customer will be given the option of placing the order again at the proper price, however the order placed at the incorrect price will not be honored .
